Home Know JCB Who We Are Corporate Culture

The Jackson County Loan and Trust Company was opened in 1900 with an initial capital of $25,000. Over the last 100 years, Jackson County Bank, or JCB as it has come to be known, has not only held fast to the values upon which it was founded, it has grown to serve 6 counties and has assets approaching $350 million. The success and growth of this institution is a direct result of JCB’s commitment to provide and support extraordinary products and services which meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. We will continue to thrive and evolve by being attentive to enhancing the value of our stockholders’ investment, by offering convenient locations, embracing technological advances in the banking industry, preserving the values and philosophies upon which we were founded and giving back to the communities that we serve.

Without a strong core foundation, no institution can effectively grow. At JCB our core values consist of Honesty, Encouragement, Accountability, Respect and Teamwork. These values have proven to be the stable, enduring foundation crucial for sustaining growth and success.

JCB’s HEART consists of:

Honesty Our team members and JCB customers rely on us to always choose the path of honesty and to follow through in a forthright, direct, clear, complete and sincere manner.
Encouragement To succeed, to excel, and to make the very best of every situation requires the continuing encouragement of each other and JCB customers.
Accountability At JCB, we have an obligation and a willingness to accept responsibility for all our actions-every hour of every day.
Respect Every individual is important; our actions define our respect for all of our fellow team members and JCB customers.
Teamwork Together, all members of JCB work as a team, putting aside our personal priorities, in order to achieve our common goal.

The values at the HEART of JCB are each individually significant while reliant upon each other.

JCB is honored to give back to the communities it serves. Not only does JCB offer monetary donations to worthwhile organizations, but many JCB team members participate on committees or belong to these organizations and give generously of their time and talent. A few of these organizations are:
