(Seymour, Indiana – September 28, 2023) JCBank and Bancorp. of Southern Indiana (“BSI’) Board Chairman Warren L. Forgey announced that Billy L. Bemis and Eric D. Fish have been elected to the Board of Directors for JCBank and its parent company, Bancorp. of Southern Indiana.

Billy Bemis is a Johnson County native and co-founder and Vice President of Bemis Group, a Johnson County real estate development and property management company, and co-founder and Partner of Garment Factory Events, LLC, a premiere event center located in Franklin. A graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Marketing and Management, Bemis also served as the past president of the Center Grove Basketball Hardwood Club, along with being past president of the Greater Greenwood Chamber of Commerce and past board member of the Johnson County Development Corporation. Bemis and his wife, Mindy, have four children, Ellie, a recent graduate of Indiana University, and Charlie, Evie and Sadie, who are all currently attending Indiana University.
Eric Fish, M.D., serves as President and CEO of Schneck Medical Center in Seymour. He also serves as President of Health Development Corporation and Coordinated Health, both wholly-owned subsidiaries of Schneck Medical Center, and Chairman of the Board of Inspire Health Partners and SIHO Holdings, Inc. Dr. Fish graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Evansville, earned his Doctorate of Medicine from Indiana University, and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. A Seymour native, Fish is noted for his commitment to improving the community through his professional and volunteer efforts, including service on the Boards of Indiana Hospital Association, Indiana Rural Health Association, Jackson County Industrial Development Corporation, Community Foundation of Jackson County, and as past president of the Boys and Girls Club of Seymour. Dr. Fish is married to Alyson, and they have two children, Olivia, a freshman at Wake Forest University, and Anna, a sophomore at Seymour High School.
