Seymour-based JCBank celebrated the relocation of its North Vernon banking center with a public ribbon cutting on May 1, 2025. The event welcomed Shawn Gerkin, Mayor of North Vernon, along with other local community members.
Marvin Veatch, JCBank President and CEO, said, “Our commitment to the Jennings County community began in 1995 when we opened a Loan Production Office.” Veatch added, “Since then, our relationships with this community have continued to grow, and in 2019, we transitioned to a full-service banking center. Today, we remain committed to providing residents and businesses with a customer-focused, relationship-centric approach to banking. We are dedicated to Jennings County, not only to provide a full suite of banking, investment, and trust services, but to be an involved partner, supporting several worthwhile organizations in and around the Jennings County community.”
The ribbon cutting ceremony marked a significant milestone for JCBank, as it coincided with the institution's 125th anniversary. Reflecting on this special occasion, Veatch stated, "Celebrating our 125th year in operation alongside the opening of the new banking center is a testament to our longstanding commitment to growth and innovation. Since our inception in 1900, we have adapted and served the evolving needs of our communities, providing exceptional financial services and fostering strong community partnerships."
The new full-service banking center, located at 2355 North State Highway 3, features a 24-hour ATM, drive-thru, and night deposit service. It also offers personal banking, commercial and mortgage lending, as well as wealth management, brokerage, and trust services. This banking center is one of thirteen JCBank has in its seven-county footprint. Other Indiana locations include Seymour, Columbus, Bloomington, Bedford, Brownstown, Greensburg, and Greenwood.
