JCBank has been named a recipient of the Indiana Bankers Association’s (IBA) Commitment to Community (C2C) Award in the mid-sized bank category ($750 million to $3 billion in assets), recognizing the bank’s outstanding community service and investment across its service areas.
The award recognizes JCBank’s efforts throughout 2025 to strengthen local communities through financial support, volunteerism, and strategic partnerships addressing the critical needs of the community. During the year, JCBank contributed $170,816 to local organizations, while team members volunteered a combined 6,010 hours in support of local programs and nonprofit partners.
JCBank’s community outreach is rooted in the belief that strong communities are built on stable housing, reliable access to nutritious food, and quality healthcare. The bank’s support included offering iGrad financial education in local schools and contributions to organizations such as New Hope for Families in Bloomington, Anchor House in Seymour, Habitat for Humanity, Greensburg Community Bread of Life, and the YMCA’s Food Assistance Program.
“This recognition is a tremendous honor for JCBank and reflects the core values that define JCBank as a community bank,” said Marvin S. Veatch, president and CEO of JCBank. “For more than 125 years, JCBank has believed banking goes beyond transactions — it is about serving people, investing in our communities, and helping create opportunities for individuals and families to thrive.”
Veatch added, “We are grateful to the Indiana Bankers Association for this recognition, but even more grateful for the dedication of our team members and the work of our nonprofit partners. Their commitment makes it possible for JCBank to respond to important needs throughout the communities we serve and to continue building stronger relationships together.”
Beyond philanthropic giving, JCBank encourages team members to stay actively involved where they live and work through volunteer projects, nonprofit board service, financial education initiatives, and participation in local civic and chamber organizations. This hands-on approach remains a cornerstone of the JCBank’s commitment to community banking.
